Online poker has become globally acclaimed lately, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game shows. The games universal appeal, though, stretches back in reality a bit farther than its television scores. Over the years several variations on the original poker game have been developed, including a handful of games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to blackjack than old guard poker, in that the players wager against the bank instead of each other. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is little bluffing or other types of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up just before the dealer saying "No further wagers." At that moment, both you and the casino and of course every one of the different gamblers are given 5 cards. After you have observed your hand and the dealer’s 1st card, you must in turn make a call wager or accede. The call bet’s amount is on same level to your beginning ante, indicating that the risks will have doubled. Surrendering means that your ante goes instantly to the dealer. After the wager comes the conclusion. If the dealer doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your bet is given back, plus a sum equal to the initial wager. If the casino does have ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand defeats the bank’s hand. The house pays out cash equal to your wager and set expectations on your call bet. These expectations are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • two to one for two pairs
  • three to one for three of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • 20-1 for a four of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
